In 2026, the VIG-BAY celebrates a very special edition: the 25th anniversary of the half marathon and the 5th anniversary of the MINIBAY. The event will take place on Sunday 12 April 2026, The spirit that has made this race an essential classic in the Galician athletics calendar has been maintained.
As of 15 November 2025 registrations are now officially open, with staggered prices by date range for both the VIG-BAY and the MINIBAY.
VIG-BAY 2026 registration tranches
For the VIG-BAY half marathon, the prices will be:
- From 15 November to 31 December 2025: 24 €
- From 1 to 31 January 2026: 28 €
- From 1 to 28 February 2026: 32 €
- From 1 to 25 March 2026: 38 €
MINIBAY 2026 registration sections
In the case of the MINIBAY, the shortest and most familiar race of the event, the established prices are:
- From 15 November to 31 December 2025: 14 €
- From 1 to 31 January 2026: 18 €
- From 1 to 28 February 2026: 22 €
- From 1 to 25 March 2026: 28 €

A solidarity bib with local impact
Once again this year, the VIG-BAY maintains its social commitment with the solidarity bib, which will be priced at 10 € and the proceeds of which will go to the Juan María Centre, in Nigrán.
The Juan María Centre is a benchmark organisation in Val Miñor that has been working for decades for to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families., through educational services, day centre, occupational centre and special employment centre, promoting their social and labour inclusion in the environment.
