Registration fees and deadlines
- From 15 November to 31 December 2025 €24
- From 1 January 2026 to 31 January 28€.
- From 1 February to 28 February 32€ 32€.
- From 1 March to 25 March 38€.
How can I register?
Online at vig-bay.com or at the offices of the Runners' Club (Avd. Beiramar 27-1º, Vigo), from 15 November 2025 to 25 March 2026.
Methods of payment
- Through the payment gateway (the whole process has an encrypted data protection security system, which secures the procedure).
- By bank transfer. Athletes who choose to pay through this option can go to any branch of Abanca or their nearest bank and make a bank transfer to the Vig-Bay Running Club account number: ES90 2080 5058 91 3040021210.
- Runners also have the option of stopping by our offices at Avd. Beiramar, 27-1º and registering and paying in person.
Solidarity bib
In favour of the Juan María Centre. Registration by means of the solidarity bib will have an additional cost of €10. The price in addition to the normal registration fee will go entirely to this association. The image of the solidarity bib will be different from the rest and will have a preferential place in the starting area of the race.
Guarantee of cancellation and change of ownership
Once the registration has been formalised, as the runner accepts these regulations, the registration fee will not be refunded in any case, except to those who have contracted this guarantee of cancellation and/or change of ownership of the race bib, with a cost of 4 euros per registration, under the following terms:
- For applications before 31 January: refund of 100% of the registration fee
- For cancellation requests between 1 February and 25 March: refund of 50% of the registration fee or changes at no extra cost.
- For applications after 26 March, registrations will be considered closed and no refunds can be made.
The cancellation guarantee can only be taken out at the time of registration.
The amount of the cancellation guarantee is not refundable under any circumstances.
However, changes of ownership without this guarantee will be accepted free of charge until 31 January, after which a €4 administration fee will be charged. This change will be made by the bib holder by filling in the requested data (new holder).
Where do I pick up my race bib bag?
At the “Museo VERBUM - Casa de las Palabras”, located at Avenida de Samil 17, in Vigo.
- On 10 (FRIDAY) April from 16:00 to 20:00.
- On 11 (SATURDAY) April from 10:00 to 20:00 hours.
- On 12 (SUNDAY) April from 08:00 to 09:45 hours.
(To collect the race bib bag, it is necessary to present an official document of accreditation).
Where is the starting line?
It is on Avenida de Samil, near the Attica Hotel and a few metres from the race bibs.
Where can I park in Samil?
We recommend that you use the different car parks that are attached to Samil Beach.
Traffic to Avda. de Samil via Avda. Atlántida will be closed from 07:00 hrs. Access will only be possible from Cocho das Dornas Beach, at Avda. Samil 24.
Access from Avda Europa to Avda Samil will be closed from 09:00 hrs.
Samil can also be reached via Rúa do Río (Lagares).
If you requested it when you registered, at the end of the race, the organisation's buses will drop you back in Samil at the Verbum Museum (the place where you picked up your race bib bag).
Where can I park in Baiona?
If you decide to bring your car to Baiona and use the bus to take you to the starting line, we advise you to use one of the following car parks:
- PARKING LA PALMA PUERTO BAIONA (next to the park and bus exit)
- ARAL PARKING (next to the Municipal Pavilion and the football pitch where the showers and changing rooms are located).
Is there a time limit for the race?
Yes, the maximum time to finish is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Are there exit boxes?
Yes, to make the start of the race smoother. They are identified by colours that match the identifying colour of your race bib. There are six boxes:
- BOX 1: Sub 1 hour 30 min.
- BOX 2: Sub 1 hour 40 min.
- BOX 3: Sub 1 hour 1 : 45 min.
- BOX 4: Sub 1 hour 50 min.
- BOX 5: Sub 2.00 a.m.
- BOX 6: Remaining times
Your personal best must be equal to or less than the time of the box you wish to place in. You will need to request the drawer when you register.
Are there hares?
Yes, the organisers have provided for the participation of guide runners who will set paces and times to help you achieve your goal.
The objectives will be to reach the finish line in 1:30 hrs, 1:40 hrs, 1:45 hrs, 1:50 hrs, 1:55 hrs and 2 hrs. These will be placed at the start of each box corresponding to their time and will be identified with a clearly visible flag.
How is the timing done?
Dorsal with chip affixed on the back. Pass through the start arch, checkpoints and finish line for correct counting.
The race time will only be recorded if the race bib is worn correctly on the front of the trunk.
What time is the departure?
- Wheelchairs and handbike: 09:45 hours.
- Runners on foot: 10:00 am.
Can someone accompany me during the race?
Sorry, safety is the main reason why this is not allowed. It is forbidden to follow runners on motorbikes, bicycles, rollerblades or any other wheeled contraption. It is also not allowed to run without a race bib.
The race takes place in the areas authorised and reserved for this purpose by the traffic authorities. The agents guarding the race will remove from the circuit those who do not comply with this rule, in order to avoid accidents.
Are there refreshment posts?
Yes, the water points are at kilometre points 5, 10, 15 and 20 and the sponge points are at kilometre points 7.5, 12.5 and 17.5.
Also at your arrival at the finish line you will have your finisher's backpack with liquid and solid supplies.
Are there health care points?
At the start line, at different kilometre points and at the finish line. In addition and for greater safety, there will be a medical service at the tail end of the race. They will attend to any need you may have, in case you need urgent assistance during the race, stop and ask any member of the organisation to alert the medical services.
Are there toilets?
Yes, located in output, in finish line and mid-race.
Is there a cloakroom service?
Ask for it when you register. We deliver a bag with a sticker with your bib number to carry your belongings to Baiona.
- Drop-off: vans at the start line, 08:00-09:45.
- Pick up: in Baiona (bib number must be shown).
The organisation cannot be held responsible for damage to sensitive items.
